About the Blog

This blog is a collection of thoughts from a guy who’s continually seeking to be the ‘right’ kind of Christian and the ‘right’ kind of writer as he looks to his Savior. I am he. Join me on this journey and in turn you will receive my thoughts, advice, rants, snippets of my writing, and more. 🙂 The Right Kind of Writer is geared mainly towards teens, Christians, writers, and particularly teenage Christian writers, but even if you are none of those, you are still very much welcome here! You’ll also find topics concerning music, running, blogging, books, etc. I hope you enjoy yourself! 😀

I mostly post once every other Monday, but occasionally I do have a one-week gap between posts.

Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.

1 Timothy 4:12, NIV

Winning doesn’t always mean being first. Winning means you’re doing better than you’ve done before.

You might not write well everyday, but you can always edit a bad page. You can’t edit a blank page.
