Anyway, here are some rules:
- Thank the person who tagged you (check!).
- Share 8 of the things God blessed you with or taught you in 2020 (alright, I got this…).
- Tag +5 bloggers (ayy, that ain’t so hard).
Alright alright, let’s get this thing started.
- I started writing seriously.
I started writing seriously in 2020. Mid April, to be more exact, so my writing-seriously anniversary passed fairly recently. By taking writing “seriously”, I mean that I’ve started several writing projects and had the mindset of publication in my mind. I hope that makes sense.
- I started blogging.
Blogging was something I don’t think I even knew about till 2020 after I joined the Young Writer’s Workshop in May. It’s been so awesome blogging, and I’ve learned so much through it! I’d like to thank God for helping me out with this. As I say every single blog post, I could only do this “with God’s help”. That goes for everything I do. I’d also like to thank all of my readers and followers! I’d be writing to empty Internet space if it weren’t for all of you.
- I joined Ydubs.
I’ve told you all about Ydubs, YWW, the Young Writer’s Workshop, several times, so I don’t think I need to explain it again. Anyway, it has blessed me SO much. Along with learning so much more about writing, graphic design, blogging, and the like through it, I made some amazing friends as well.
- I made the bold decision to take two high school classes.
You may have heard me say a few times that I am in eight grade, but also take a high school and college-level class. That is true. Officially, I am in eight grade, but I take high school literature and Advanced Placement Human Geography. Yes, this has been the most stressful school year of my life, but most definitely worth it. Literature has continued to hone my skills while APHG has dumped so much knowledge on me -a geography fanatic- I’m ecstatic! It is true that I hope to never take an AP class again, though! I only took the challenge because it was a geography course. 😉
- I made a lot of good friends.
While COVID has limited my chances at in-person friends, I have made some amazing online friends through Ydubs.
- A laptop.
Sure, this laptop is really old, has to always be plugged in, and I share it, but it has been INCREDIBLY helpful.
- I see changes in me.
As I continue to grow older, I feel myself maturing. Yes, I know that might sound boastful, but it is true. While I’m most definitely not perfect, and I can be annoying and have other flaws as well, when I compare myself to my younger self, I do see some improvements. 🙂
- I became extremely fascinated in graphic design and photography.
Both are just so fun, and I have figuratively fallen in love with those two arts! True, I’m not the best and I do lack a good deal of skill in them, but I’ve been improving and putting effort into them.
And that is all EIGHT! This gave me the opportunity to really look back at the good things of 2020, and not just… not-so-Lil’ Rona.
Time for the tagees!
That’s a word. It is… maybe. Hehehe.
- Shanessa over at My Days in Montana
- Esther over at Esther Josephine Writes
- Caleb over at Caleb E. King
- Noah over at Life in Kyoto
- Alabama over at Alabama Rose
That’s been done.
I hope you enjoyed reading this post! If you weren’t tagged, feel free to comment about your favorite blessing(s) of 2020!
With God’s help,
Daniel L. Amador
